The proportion of ex-sherry casks alongside traditional oak has been finely judged in the Aberlour 12 year old Double Matured to craft an elegant, complex and exceptionally balanced single malt with rich and sweet notes - the result of this double cask maturation. The natural citrus character is complimented by the use of the ex-sherry and ex-bourbon casks.
