Crafted by Glenfiddich's Malt Master, who carefully selects some of the oldest casks in the world, less than 1,000 bottles of this 40 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky are released to the world each year. The spirit has been matured in the finest Ozark Mountain American oak and European oak from Portugal and Spain. It boasts an intense, dark mahogany hue with rich layers of dried fruits, dark chocolate, roasted coffee, black cherries, wood smoke, leather and cloves. The palate is silky smooth, with intense notes of fruitcake, dates, raisins, dark chocolate and dry oak. The long finish adds to the elegance of this opulent single malt.Each bottle is individually numbered and comes wrapped in a hand-stitched, calf leather case.40% ABV
