Howell Mountain is a very warm AVA on the mountain sides of Napa Valley. RIsing above the fog layer means it is exposed to long hours of sunshine with the only real cooling influence coming from altitude. As a west facing vineyard, it is situated at an aspect that simply drinks up sunlight too. It is known for producing intensely concentrated, ripe Cabernet Sauvignon with high, firm tannins.
