Franschhoek
Known as the ‘gourmet capital’ of the Cape, and a favourite holiday destination, Franschhoek, is a picturesque town, bursting with some of the Cape’s top-rated restaurants, and surrounded on 3 sides, by dramatic mountain scenes. It’s a mall area in the south east corner of Paarl, west of Stellenbosch, with a hot climate, but cool nights, due to the protection from the mountains.
