Morgon is one of the 10 Beaujolais Cru and includes wines from grapes grown on the south-facing Côte de Py vineyard, which is perhaps what it is best admired for. The wines from here tend to have pronounced intensity black cherry alongside red fruits, and they have sufficient tannins to age for a decade in bottle. Quite the Beaujolais!
