Brouilly is one of the most popular of the 10 Beaujolais crus or villages. Being the most southerly, its wines have vibrant berry-fruit flavours and are extra ripe, with a mellow, spicy overlay. Fresh and smooth as an apéritif, it is versatile enough to go well with fish, poultry, meat and soft or hard cheeses. In the press: "...aromatic, lively and pristine red-fruited gamay..."
