The Les Poutures is very much a Pommard! The muscular tannins dominate and likely will for the best part of a decade, at which point the wine will emerge from its shell and reveal more of its primary red fruit which can already be found at this stageif you look beneath the tannins. Those with patience will be rewarded by this Premier Cru, those without should stick with the village Pommard.
