Why try English wine?

With more than 400 vineyards across England and Wales, our home-grown wines are really coming into their own. Our top quality sparkling wines are consistently winning medals and we're producing more than a million bottles a year. The majority of vineyards in the UK are focussed in the south-east corner, where the warmer climates and chalky soil make it a particularly good region for sparkling wine production; look out for rising stars from vineyards such as Nyetimber and Ridgeview.
