Rias Baixas is located at the heart of the Galicia region in the far nortwestern corner of Spain. Here, the Atlantic Ocean's influences prevent extremes of temperature across the seasons, making for a moderate evironment that suits this grape variety. Viognier-like aromas of tropical and stone fruits, with a hint of herbs, follow through on a palate that is altogether more lean and fresh. Flavours of kiwi and green apples predominate. Most at home with fresh seafood, white fish or classic paella.
