70cl / 46.9% / Elixir Distillers - A 31-year-old single grain whisky from Elixir Distillers' Whisky Trail Retro Birds series, made at Strathclyde distillery and matured in a single barrel for more than three decades. Delicate aromas of garden flowers mingle with barley water, tinned pears, custard and lemon meringue pie on the nose. The palate offers luscious notes of golden syrup, honey drops, icing sugar, banana split and lavender that linger in the finish.
