There's a real richness to the aromatics here that follows on the palate but with a lift that only really the Adelaide Hills can achieve with its higher altitude sites and cooler temperatures. If ever there's a wine to smash the preconceptions of Aussie Chardonnay being thick, heavy and clumsy the Soaring Kite is it. It's modern but with a nod to the restraint of the classic Chardonnays of Europe.
