Tasting note This Grand Cru Pinot Gris holds an intensely complex nose of candied quince, baked apple and floral aromas. Full bodied and concentrated, it boasts citrus fruit, marmalade, orange peel and touches of smoke and honey. Enjoy with Foie Gras or roasted pheasant. Seven generations and nearly two centuries have passed since the founding of Domaines Schlumberger. In 1810, Nicolas Schlumberger established his vineyards on the sunny slopes above the town of Guebwiller in Alsace. Since then the holding has grown from the original few small plots to one of France’s largest and finest vineyards. Seventh-generation Alain Beydon-Schlumberger runs the domaine. Regrettably, this product is non-returnable and non-exportable.
