"The nose at first is almost austere, then opens to bitter chocolate and blackberry fruit, herbal notes and a suggestion of eucalyptus. The palate is tight, firmly held by tannins yet balanced by considerable ripe fruit, well extracted and rich flavoured. Fine texture, weighty, dry and undoubtedly to improve further with time."
