Colour: Very intense ruby red. Bouquet: Very complex with an explosion of ripe black cherries and small black berries; very spicy, white pepper, chocolate and tobacco. Flavour: Very structured and complex, great balance, everlasting finish. Grapes: 100% Sangiovese. Position: Single vineyard at steep hillside at 400 meters above sea level. Training System: Guyot. Harvest: After October 10th, by hand. Vinification Process: After a second grape quality control, 20 days of maceration at a controlled temperature of 28-30 degrees C with soft extraction process and frequent punch-downs. Aging: 11 months in French barriques and tonneaux of first and second use. Production: 22 hl/ha.
