Named after Andrew McPherson's eccentric entrepreneurial father Jock - one-time winemaker, duck farmer, airman, builder and publisher - this cracking Cabernet Sauvignon is bursting with flavour. Just what you'd expect from one of Australia's acclaimed old hands. It's made at Andrew's Nagambie winery in Victoria's Goulburn Valley from small clusters of grapes sourced from the warm, sunny vineyards around Mildura. A rich, full-bodied red, with intense aromas of ripe blackcurrant and warm berries backed by spicy vanilla-scented oak. Jock was a great fan of lamb, which makes a perfect partner for this wine. This is also a great accompaniment to an authentic Aussie barbeque.
