The estate was established in the 1750’s by renowned winemaker Pietro di Mastro Berardino and today the 10th generation is now in charge. Mastroberardino has been the mainstay of the Campania region for over two hundred years and is one of the truly key estates of the region. Currently at the helm is Antonio Mastroberardino with his son Piero as CEO. Antonio has been championing local species such as Greco di Tufo and Fiano di Avellino to continue the traditions of the region. The estate controls 300 hectares of which 150 managed by Mastroberadino. The Antheres Passito is a late harvest liquoroso that was dried on straw mats before being fortified with distillates of three year old wine.
