Wine DOMAINE DE VAUGONDY - The Château Montcontour overlooks the Loire and rises on a hillside at the heart of the Vouvray appellation. The grapes are harvested when ripe, then the juice ferments and rests in a tank for 4-6 months. Then comes the talent of the winemaker, who decides to halt the maturation of the wine for bottling.
