The Weisser Riesling was harvested from 25 year old (Geisenheim clone 239) unirrigated vineyards, situated on decomposed granite soils, 300m above sea level. The Riesling was harvested at 22.0°B and tank fermented at 15°C. Once the perfect balance between fruit and acidity was reached, the fermentation was stopped to retain a hint of natural residual sugar. Intense lemon-lime flavours. A crisp fruitiness makes it a superb partner with food. Hints of spiciness add to its intrigue.
