Tasting note A beautiful one hectare vineyard on a hand-constructed terrace of some 200 years of age. This wine takes its name from the eagles and hawks which fly over this south-facing exposed site. The ultimate intense Cornas wine, this sophisticated, robust beauty is very long-lived and incredibly complex. Notes of violet, wild raspberry dominate on the nose, with hints of incense, tobacco and juniper. Achieving perfect balance it is intense, sophisticated and has a wonderfully long finish.
