Our rare Blanc de Noirs Champagne, made from the dark-skinned Pinot Noir grape, is sourced entirely from the Grand Cru vineyards of Ambonnay. This village, situated in the heart of the Montagne de Reims, is particularly famous for producing a rich and decadent style of Champagne. The Déthune family own just seven hectares of vines, and the entire UK allocation of the Blanc de Noirs cuvée is bottled exclusively for Fortnum's. The cuvée is aged in small oak barrels which gives the wine a wonderful nutty character on both the nose and on the palate, which is further enriched by notes of honey, spice and dark fruits. Please note that it is an offence to purchase or attempt to purchase alcoholic liquor if you are under the age of 18. Please note that the case discount promotion cannot be applied to this line.
