In 1980, at the age of 19, Vincent Girardin, the son of a family of winegrowers based in Santenay since the 17th century, decided to strike out on his own, and began producing wine from two hectares of vines that he had inherited from his parents. The vineyard Les Narvaux is in the village of Meursault, above the Premier Cru parcel Les Genevrières”. Although a ‘village level wine it is considered a wine with premier cru quality. It has a great mineral character with notes of lemon and balanced by buttery richness. Full of complexity, this Meursault has incredible length and long ageing potential. Pairs perfectly with seafood and rich creamy dishes. 13% ABV
