A Cinquième Cru Classé, Château Lynch-Bages is one of the most recognised Médoc estates. For the winerys reds, fermentation is temperature-controlled and the wine is extensively pumped-over to ensure concentration and depth of colour. The wine then matures in oak barrels for 15 months.This full-bodied red is surprisingly soft and approachable when young. However, when fully matured, it develops a succulent richness and reveals a heavenly bouquet of minty blackcurrants and cigar boxes. It is best served with all kinds of grilled, roasted and braised meat dishes – such as veal, pork, beef, lamb, duck, game and chicken. 13% ABV
