Our members’ panel were bowled over by this wine. Classic Graves at a decent price! It’s a lovely brilliant ruby colour in the glass, with good notes of ripe plums, forest fruit and graphite on the nose. The taste is very pleasing, with plenty of plum fruit on ripe tannins, like an elegant couple dancing in a ballroom. A well balanced 70% Merlot & 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, aged for 3 months in barrels and 9 months in tanks.
Ruby red; a large range of aromas from dark chocolate to toasted and through red fruits; Powerful and soft in the mouth, red fruits aromas carried by velvety and silky tannins.
You can really tell that this wine comes from those gravelly, pebbly vineyards of Graves. Great with veal and lamb stews.
