Was intriduced to Blanquette many years ago in the region where it is produced. However it wasn't until I discovered this marvelous Tesco offering that I was able to reacquaint myself with it. Great value for money with a fabulous refreshing taste. I served this at a daughters wedding and everyone thoroughly enjoyed it. Get some, but save me some!

We love this wine, we've been drinking it for many years as a good value alternative to champagne. Much more sophisticated than prosecco or cave, but more affordable than champagne, it never disappoints.

After drinking champagne for many years I read about Blanquette de Limoux. What a surprise and disappointment that I had missed it for so long. Just a shame the bottles don't fit in my wine cooler

First given blanquette by our site host many years ago and was pleased to see Tesco had a version of this on our return after our holiday. Always buy it for Christmas and served it at younger daughters wedding. It disappeared from the shelves and online for a while but now we have been reunited since we moved house and now shop at our local Tesco

Forget the expensive Champagnes, Blanchette de Limoux beats them hands down. It is, after all, the original sparkling wine.

I read about Blanquette over 20 years ago when the reviewer rated it above most champagnes. He wasn't wrong. Crisp and dry without being acidic this is an excellent sparkler and always my first choice for a warm summer's day. Tesco's Finest selection rates with the very best and is highly recommended.

I have drunk a variety of Blanquette over the years but the Tesco Finest is probably the best one I have tasted. Its lovely fruit flavours allied to the extremely beautiful texture is, for me, sublime. I do not like sparkling wines that frighten the taste buds to death, or that have the sort of aggressive bubbles that almost lift your hat off. This Blanquette is, for me, perfectly balanced. Delicious with food (of the right sort), it is equally in its element on a picnic or opening a bottle just for the pleasure of an unaccompanied social drink. I much prefer Blanquette to any other sparkling wine.

This is the best cava I have ever had. It was recommended to me by a friend and I have recommended it to lots of people since without hesitation. It is wonderfully bubbly and full of flavour but not overwhelming. It is dry but not so dry that you cannot drink it all night. This is far better than buying a cheap champagne - I also think it is beautifully presented so makes an attractive (as well as tasty) gift for anyone. I last poured it to guests at a baby shower - the mum to be had only half a glass all afternoon but the guests made up for it by raving about it and consuming it in impressive quantities!

Came across this in France a few years ago and loved it. Found it at Tesco so had a couple of cases for daughters recent wedding. Try it. Closest thing to the real stuff but at a decent price, especially if on offer!
