In a way it almost makes it more exciting when you're pressed harder to root out the real winners of a vintage. It's often that you only find the real gems during a revisit. A chunk of hot weather arrived late in the vintage resulting in a smaller harvest of ripe yet concentrated grapes. Winemaking at the Chateau is taken care of by father and son team, Eric and Jacques Boissenot, and they've crafted a graceful and stylish wine. Interesting minty nose, delicate approach, gentle, long and perfectly balanced.
